  2. Feeling extra Christmassy lately so I’m going to make the cupcakes and mince pies tomorrow!! x

  3. You need an electrical mixer, Tanya! 🙂 It’ll help out so much!

    • I’m a bit late, but I thought i’d let you know anyway: when making cupcakes (and especially the icing) the mixing/ stirring is most commonly done with a spoon rather than an electrical whisk. It has something to do with the consistency and the butter not getting too soft or something (I am no baking-pro so don’t slay me please! I just know that it make a huge difference if you use a spoon or an electrical whisk) 🙂

    • I second this. They make baking so much easier! After spending a lot of time in the UK I’ve realized that home baking isn’t as common over here so there isn’t a mixer in every home like in the US! 🙂

  4. Great job on the voice over!!!

  5. Looks yummy, there may already be comments about this, but if you make sure your butter is at room temp. it will be easier to blend and use an electric mixer, there is no need to struggle, let the mixer do all the work for you, with the icing, again use an electric mixer and a deeper bowl it will be easier to do!!  Hope those little tips help you!  Merry Christmas! Laurie

  16. To help when creaming butter & sugar/icing sugar, make sure your butter is at room temp (pop it in the microwave for 10/20 seconds if necessary) and beat it heavily with a whisk on it’s own before you add in the sugar slowly, bit by bit. This makes it far easier to mix and also prevents spilling sugar evereywhere!

  18. Put some cinnamon on the whipped cream as well, delicious!

  19. That minced meat contains more than just the meat right? What else does it consist of cause i will have to bake the meat myself. Also, do you think that meat thingy would taste nice with strawberries, or is the cookie part different from what i imagine it to be?

  20. Is it wierd that I just made the hot chocolate in August? Xx
