100 Greatest Horror Movie Quotes of All Time

List of films found here:

For the purposes of the video, all intentionally funny quotes (like Bruce Campbell's Army of Darkness quips, or Chuckys various one-liners) have been left out. And yes, I know there is quite a few lines in the video that can be construed as humorous, but in my opinion all of these lines were never intended to be amusing, unlike say "Hail to the king baby". Oh, and these quotes are not ranked, nor is there any order or countdown.

    • +Paul Dennett Aliens is a combination of all genres. It even has some comedy. This is why it appealed to a broader audience. Just because it has action in it doesn’t make it any less terrifying. Personally, Alien 3 scared me the most.

    • +iTMNTfan Besides the Alien franchise, very few horror movies have been able to scare me. How can a movie about monsters with a exoskeleton who stalk, impregnate, and kill you in the middle of nowhere in outer space not be scary? I personally don’t see horror in slasher, serial killer/crime, dolls, and exorcism movies. But, hey, it’s scary to some people.

    • Aliens, I’ll give you as it’s clearly more action movie than horror in comparison to the original…but how can you not see the horror in the other 3?¬† Lecter and Dollarhyde are scary as hell, and are capable of truly horrific acts of murder…and they do it so coldly too, that’s the really scary part.¬† The notion of HAL, an AI that can so coldly and dispationately take lives, and do so from such a position of logic is also a scary notion.¬† Movies don’t have to be just a single genre, a single narrow definition.¬† Horror is a large part of all 3.¬† There’s even some horror to be had in Aliens, but it’s few and far between.

    • +Agent Simpson 327¬†Alright.

    • +Agent Simpson 327¬†I agree.

  12. Really wouldn’t consider 2001 a horror movie. More science fiction.

  13. Absolutely great work!! Maybe honorable mention: Spawn, The Hitcher, The Werewolf{ Lon Chaney Jr.} The Forbidden Planet { Sci-Fi but the Id monster,wow}
